How it works
Participa is the simplest way to make your voice heard by the Cabildo, your local Ayuntamiento or the CAAF — and to ensure the response is made public.
1. Tell us
Choose what you'd like to submit: a suggestion, a question, a problem to report, an issue you'd like us to investigate, or a proposal that other residents can support. Write your text, add photos and a location if it helps, and decide whether it's published under your name, anonymously, or passed on privately only.
2. We review and forward it
The Información Local team reviews every submission within 1–2 working days, filters out anything that's out of scope or a duplicate, and forwards it to the relevant department at the institution concerned. Each institution has a response deadline (15 days by default). You'll receive an email every time the status changes.
3. We publish the response
When the institution responds, we publish the reply alongside your submission and let you know. If no response is received within the deadline, the submission is marked as "no response" and counts towards the institution's rating.
Submission statuses
- Received — we've received it and it's awaiting review.
- Under review — we're currently reviewing it.
- Forwarded — sent to the relevant department, with a response deadline.
- Being handled — the institution has acknowledged receipt and is dealing with it.
- Answered — an official response has been published.
- Resolved — resolved.
- No response — the institution did not respond within the deadline.
- Rejected — out of scope, duplicated or inappropriate; we'll explain why.
The rating
For each institution we show the percentage of forwarded submissions that received a response, how many arrived within the deadline, and the average response time.
No passwords needed
To follow your submissions, support proposals and vote in consultations, all you need is your email address: we'll send you a one-time access link.
Languages
You can write in Spanish, English, German or Italian. We automatically translate submissions and responses so that all residents can read them; the original text is always indicated.
